Isolate Those Challenges

By Lauren Salamone | Jul 11, 2011 | No Comments

Hope your summer is going well!  Ever notice how when something wonderful happens to you, you feel more upbeat about everything and everyone in your world?  It’s such a sweet feeling!  On the other hand, when you encounter a challenge, everything else in your life can take on a negative tone as well.  It happens to all of us.  And it can be daunting!

That’s why when we encounter a challenge it helps to remember that it’s isolated.  It doesn’t have to extend to the other components of your life.  It can be very useful to back away from that challenge long enough to remind yourself of the big picture.  That way, you get the lift from focusing on the good stuff…and you’re re-energized to take on that challenge with renewed perspective.

~ This Week’s Quote ~

“The world is a great mirror. It reflects back to you what you are.

If you are loving, if you are friendly, if you are helpful,

the world will prove loving and friendly and helpful to you.

The world is what you are.”

-Thomas Dreier
