Lauren Salamone is an award-winning mentor to today’s college students. For 15 years she has made it her mission to help students “have it all” –
- to excel in college,
- to enjoy the fun, so crucial to the experience,
- to use college to create their ideal lives.
Through her presentations, workshops, Guided Inspirations, books, newsletters, and mentoring services – Lauren shares simple and powerful strategies that have fostered success in young women (and young men) from high school seniors to college and graduate students – and many of their parents along the way! It’s the students who dubbed her the “College Guidance Guru,” and the title stuck.
Whether guiding students through emotional, social, academic, or extra-curricular aspects of their college lives, Lauren’s approach is always to use those experiences to get them right on the path to real-world success after
graduation. She inspires students to do, to be, and to have all they desire
in college… and for the rest of their lives.
Lauren brings a unique perspective to her work with college students. Her years as a high school English teacher gave her valuable insight into empowering and connecting with today’s youth. Drawing upon her advertising and marketing experience – at corporations such as CBS, Inc. and Westinghouse Broadcasting – she enlightens students on the importance of setting and reaching goals, as well as discovering what it takes to succeed.
Lauren’s training began at St. Lawrence University, where she earned her B.A. with honors. She then went on to earn her M.A. at New York University where she was the Graduate Valedictorian.
